Kevin Kim began his career in broadcasting as a producer/director at Arirang TV, the first 24-hour English-language channel, owned and operated by the Ministry of Culture and Sports in Korea. At Arirang TV, Kim helped launch and shape popular programs for the network including its newscasts and talk and entertainment shows that have now become the face of this channel.

In 2004, Kim joined SBS International, a U.S. division of SBS network in Korea, as the head of business development and successfully launched SBS and SBS Plus, 24/7 channels respectively, through US major MSOs such as DIRECTV, Time Warner Cable, Verizon FiOS TV, etc.

In addition, Kim successfully spearheaded efforts to promote Korean TV programs in Latin America, by partnering up with Telemundo Internacional in 2007 to distribute the Spanish-dubbed SBS drama series to TV stations in South America. SBS drama series are now broadcast throughout twelve different TV stations in eleven different countries with phenomenal viewership success, and some of the formats of successful SBS drama series have been acquired by top producers in Latin America and adapted into their popular and familiar “telenovela” formats.

 When he’s not working, Kim can be found on the putting greens and says he has golfed at more than 50 of the top courses in the world from Pebble Beach to Royal Birkdale.  He is happily married with a son and lives in Calabasas, California.
